Our ‘in-house’ First Aid training courses are tailored to meet every organisation’s requirements and particular work environment. These courses are presented at your own on-site premises. The flexibility of an in-house course allows for a date and time suitable for all staff which can be determined by the business and allows delegates to study alongside colleagues in a familiar and comfortable environment. As a team, the delegates have the opportunity to talk openly and the freedom to ask questions that they may not be comfortable with raising otherwise. Our professional trainers are approachable and friendly making learning interesting and enjoyable.

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 places a responsibility on every business to have suitable and effective First Aid cover.

QSC offer the following ‘in-house’ First Aid training courses.

Emergency First Aid at Work

The minimum first aid requirement for an employer is to appoint a person to take charge of the first aid arrangements. This includes looking after the equipment and facilities and calling the Emergency Services when required. Arrangements should be made for an Appointed Person to be available to undertake these duties at all times when people are at work. In the absence of the First Aider, employers must appoint a person for this purpose. It should be remembered that Appointed Persons are not First Aiders and should not attempt to give First Aid for which they have not been trained.

This course is ideal for individuals who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid.
